In Ndola to work, as requested by the Chairman

TPM MOVES INTO «INTERNSHIP MODE»

Ravens in Zambia!

April 14, 2014

Ravens have established their headquarters in Ndola since the mid-afternoon on Sunday. This camp will be for the men of Patrice CARTERON of a double aim. As a valiant chief of the troops, the Chairman Moïse KATUMBI held a meeting with players and staff before boarding from Lubumbashi.

Nine o’clock Sunday morning at the residence of Chairman. Already in place, Patrice CARTERON greet, together with his staff, the 30 players who will participate in this first phase of preparation in mid-season. Some moments later, the boss spoke to the entire delegation. Bearer of the message of the Club of which he is the guarantor, Moïse KATUMBI solemnly told his protégés that he is relying on their capacities and performances to achieve the main goals of the season. Clairvoyant and well inspired on this Palm Sunday, the "great speaker” raised awareness of everyone and reminded them that will always put the team in the best conditions to achieve the objectives:the championship of the DRC and the trophy of the Champions League that the team has not won since 2010.

During the Zambian stay, teammates of Captain KIMWAKI will “redouble their efforts to present a new face",said the boss wishing a good job to all.

Lubumbashi, Kasumbalesa then Ndola, everything was timed

Then straight to Ndola , passing obviously through Kasumbalesa border city where the secretary Dony KABONGO the liaison officer of  the club based in Zambia, had preceded the troop to accelerate procedures to avoid long waiting hours. It was around 15:00 that the delegation arrived at destination. Not too boring travel for players who have, for some of them rested well, and well entertained for others, play games on tablets in hand. In Ndola, the majority of them will not be in an unknown land. There is a year almost day after days; the team was staying there to prepare the opposition against Orlando Pirates.

Innate work and friendlies on the menu

The coach of the TPM will quickly move from Monday morning to the physic and tactical exercises and experiments at the same time during this general training session. Before starting the work in Ndola, Patrice CARTERON has revealed to us its objectives: "First we are going to play many friendlies. We will take advantage of these ten days to use the principle of friendly matches or we are going to play two games in a row, which will allow the entire workforce to remain competitive and especially to ramp up in terms of intensity. We need to show beautiful things in the coming weeks and it needs preparation. We're here to combine a lot of tactical and physical work to arrive fresh at the next big games ahead of us at the national level with Linafoot and continental with the quarterfinals of the CAF Champions League...”
