MIDO fired by Zamalek, Al Hilal dismissed CAMPOS

C1 AFTER D4, THE WALTZ OF COACHES

MIDO fired by Zamalek, Al Hilal dismissed CAMPOS

July 31, 2014

Al Hilal defeat in Kinshasa and the draw of Zamalek in Alexandria have pushed out the coaches of both teams. After just three months at the head of Al Hilal, Paulo Campos is accused not because of lack of results, but the incentive for players to attack the match officials. On the Zamalek side, MIDO was in the viewfinder of his leaders for several weeks and the draw conceded against the TPM has confirmed his departure, which was endorsed by his Executive management.

Zamalek SC ended his collaboration with his coach MIDO. The results deterioration from seven months on top of the Cairo club and differences of opinion led to this particular decision. The draw of last Sunday against TPM is the drop of water that broke the vase. For his succession, two names stand out: the Portuguese coach Paulo DUARTE, former coach of Burkina Faso, and the legend of Egyptian football HOSSAM, who is no longer coach of Jordan.

The Brazilian coach Paulo CAMPOS is no longer coach of Al Hilal, the opponent of the TPM during the 5th day of the group phase. After the defeat (1-2) of the Sudanese Club on AS V Club pitch, the club's management blames his coach for having led his players to attack the Kenyan referee who had granted to the club from Kinshasa a penalty in the 5 minutes of additional time.

According to the statement of Al Hilal leaders, Paulo CAMPOS is an instructor and must have impeccable behavior... but the results have also played to the extent that it is Al Hilal is currently the laggard of the group with 4 points. It is the Assistant of the Brazilian coach, Al Tag MAHGOUB who will lead the Sudanese club in Lubumbashi on the next Sunday, August 10 to meet TPM.
