Bonaventure MWANATEBA is no more!

Former player of TP Mazembe, Bonaventure MWANATEBA died on October 14, 2014 at the age of 65. Born in Kasongo in Maniema February 22, 1948, Bonaventure MWANATEBA leaves a widow and 10 orphans (4 boys and 6 girls), and was carried into his final resting place earlier this week in Goma.
He made it rain or shine the Local of Bande Rouge of Bukavu between 1968 and 1970, then it was between 1970 and 1975 he wore the jersey of TPM. Bonaventure MWANATEBA was part of the young wave of TPM players that joined the workforce after the glorious epic from 1968 to 1970. It was difficult for the new generation to take the place of those who had played four successive finals of the League Champions League to win two titles.
Bonaventure MWANATEBA has not even won African or national trophies with TP Mazembe.Despite that, his affection for his club of dreams was boundless in Goma, where he was based until his death. TPM expresses his deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
