November 27, 2014

More about Lubumbashi Sport-SM Sanga Balende this Wednesday, November 26th at 15:30 at the stadium Kibassa. The decision has been taken this morning just some hours before this advanced encounter of the 7th day of the D1. The Mayor of Lubumbashi who has taken this decision motivated it by the ongoing investigations following the incidents that led to the death of two fans (pictured) at the time of Lupopo-Sanga Balende match on Sunday 23.

On the eve, CAF through its president Issa HAYATOU, manifested his conviction against troublemakers in DRC stadia referring to incidents that saddened the country during Lupopo-Sanga Balende match on Sunday November 23 at Kibassa Maliba stadium: "Football should be a moment of communion, fellowship, sharing, celebrating and of joy in phase with legendary culture of hospitality and solidarity of the peoples of Africa. So it is always with emotion, dismay but especially vehement disapproval that we experience such events.” He said on the official website of the Confederation.

The highest body of African football while presenting his condolences to the Congolese soccer wants explanations and examples sanctions against the culprits. It requires the same time that FECOFA ensures the safety of players, officials and spectators.
