D1, Day 9: TSHINKUNKU-MAZEMBE 0-2

A 3 of 3 away that reassuring

December 17, 2014

Author of a solid performance, the TPM won 2-0 against US Tshinkunku this Sunday, 14 december, at the Youth of Katoko stadium in Kananga. Thanks to Ousmane CISSE achievement (61st) and a goal against his camp by a defender of Ravens from Kananga (84th), Mazembe reassured and enjoyed the taste of a third success away!

The Ravens have sealed all the three games away on a printing of omnipotence. Defensively, Mazembe remains tight, helped on Sunday by Robert KIDIABA very inspired primarily on stopping a penalty kick during injury time and as efficiently as spectacular parade (37th). In the heart of the game, the tandem Boubacar DIARRA-Daniel ADJEI monopolized the ball, all in front of a technically dazzling Thomas ULIMWENGU to date. Concerning the forward... A strike not overkill by Ousmane CISSE but the goalkeeper KETANI has not controlled (61st) 1-0. The mental preparation of Lubumbashi Ravens for the third consecutive game away was fruitful.

Less worried probably by Kananga Ravens lightly bumped by the demanding match physically, The Patrice CARTERON players have managed to score even if at the end of the 1st half, Thomas Ulimwengu (11th), Jonathan BOLINGI (26th) - to whom they could assign the second goal following a corner by Solomon ASANTE, he puts his head that is returned into his own net a Tshinkunku defender 2-0 (84th) - Ousmane CISSE (35th), Daniel ADJEI (36th) could not deceive the goalkeeper KETANI.

By this success, the TPM sent a message to its competitors D1 for return phase: that group intends to take as soon as possible the leader costume in winning all their matches outside. Before the end of a match for the first phase, the goal is emerging a little more: the current leader of Sanga Balende (19 points) who lost in Goma against Dauphins Noirs (2-0), current leader is just at two short lengths. To be confirmed so this Wednesday 17 December, at the reception of Capaco from Beni to finish with 20 points.

A man in the game, Thomas ULIMWENGU

He was not expected on this game, well, he was... smashing! In the very athletic duel that opposed to the right wing Tshinkunku BISIONI, the Tanzania International tamed competition. While accuracy on all its overflowing, Thomas Ulimwengu has also been very enterprising taking several times velocity the defense of Tshinkunku but on two occasions, he failed before the goalkeeper (11th and 75th). Although he did not score, Thomas ULIMWENGU departed from Kananga very happy for having done a great job.
