AFCON 2017: FOR THE FIRST DAY OF PLAYOFFS
SAMATTA, ULIMWENGU and KAMWENDO summoned

The Ravens Mbwana Aly SAMATTA and Thomas ULIMWENGU were called by the coach of the Taifa Stars for the first day of playoffs for the AFCON 2017. Tanzania will be received in Alexandria in Egypt on June 14. On his side, Joseph KAMWENDO will attend the Egypt-Malawi friendly match on June 8 in Cairo before the clash against Zimbabwe.
The two Tanzanian forwards of TPM are expected in Addis Ababa for camp on Monday, June 8, 2015. They will join on that date the official of the Tanzania Football Association prior to heading to Egypt where they will be received by the Pharaohs. Tanzania of Mbwana Aly SAMATTA and Thomas ULIMWENGU is part of Group G with Egypt, his first opponent, he will face Nigeria in Dar-es-Salaam in weekend from 4 to 6 September 2015 on the occasion of day 2 and Chad on the occasion of the 3rd day (from 26 to 29 March 2016).
Joseph KAMWENDO, captain of the Flames of Malawi is also convened for the first day of the playoffs. Malawi will face Zimbabwe in Blantyre on Saturday, June 13 in preparation of this game; the Malawian Football Association solicited Joseph KAMWENDO Sunday 31 May for the camp. There is an international friendly game in Cairo against Egypt on Monday, 8 June to prepare for the first day of playoffs in which Malawi shares the L group alongside with Zimbabwe, Guinea and Swaziland.
