The Brazilian CORTEZ is committed for six months

February 1, 2016

The TPM is delighted to announce the signing for a period of six months of Marco Antonio Silva CORTEZ. The Brazilian forward 34 years old, 1,72m 73kg, built like Aguero has come from UAE (he was with Al Orooba) has given his consent to TPM.

Born in Sao Paulo (24 August 1981), Marco Antonio Silva CORTEZ made his pro starts in his home region in Portuguesa in 2002. The following year he joined Flamengo and then went into exile in Japan from 2004 to 2005 in Thespakusatsu Gunma.

Two years later, Marco Antonio returns home to successively donning jerseys of Iraty (2006), Botafogo (2007), Oeste (2008-2009), America (2010) and Atlético Socoraba (2011). From 2011 to 2012, he plays for Club Of Oman. It is in the United Arab Emirates where he played before joining the TPM: from 2012 to 2013 in AlIttihhad Kalba and 2014-2015 for Al Orooba.

After working for United Arab Emirates, where Marco has scored 28 goals with Ithihad Kalba SC and 21 goals in Al Orooba in a season, the Brazilian striker decided to join the DRC in TPM to share national and international ambitions of the "Champion of Africa ".

By signing a six-month contract with TPM, Marco Antonio Silva CORTEZ will only wait for the play-offs of the national championship to get on the pitch. In TPM, there are challenges. Up to him to charm the staff and the very "demanding" Ravens supporters.

The new recruit of Ravens is already in Lubumbashi where he is training with the group.

Good luck to Marco Antonio Silva CORTEZ!
