C2 – DAY 4: TPM-MOB 1-0

KALABA sends Ravens in semifinals

July 30, 2016

TPM will play the semifinals of the C2. This Wednesday, July 27 on the occasion of the 4th day of Group A, Ravens have enhanced their draw in Béjaïa by winning at Kamalondo on a narrow score. Rainford KALABA scored the only goal of the Katanga team, if it has not always been imperial, has broadly controlled the debates during a high-level match.

Why TPM is mathematically qualified?

Mazembe totaled 10 points, his two pursuers (Medeama and MOB) are at 5 points, only one of the two could reach 11 points in case it registers two wins and pass before TPM if it stucks and does not score any more points . It will either MOB or Medeama since both will compete at the 6th day. Whatever the outcome of this game will be, the Ravens will not lose their place in the semifinals.

The other club that can still – mathematically – hope to accompany TPM is Yanga! Tanzanians (1 point) are constrained to two wins, first against MOB in the next day to go to 4 points before the TPM at the 6th day hoping that his two challengers: MOB and Medeama will register two draws! Chances are slim, but...

After qualifying, the race for the 1st place

This precious goal of KALABA that qualifies the Ravens is historical for men of VELUD. Although qualification is honorably acquired from the 4th day, the useful remains top place of the group which must be addressed. The staff wants to triumph with panache in the Confederation Cup. The trip to Ghana on August 14th is to be taken very seriously.

Congratulations to Hubert VELUD and his men!
