Mazembe in solidarity with a sporting world that is mourning

An airplane carrying 81 people, including the Brazilian football team Chapecoense, crashed in Colombia, a disaster that left 75 dead and six survivors, and triggered a national mourning in Brazil. Besides, this drama that has raised a lot of emotion in all soccer circles.

Brazilian President Michel TEMER declared three days of mourning after the accident Monday evening of the British Aerospace 146 of the Bolivian company Lamia. The same type of aircraft that had has carried MESSI and the Argentine national team few days ago.

The survivors are players Helio Hermito Zampier NETO, Alan Luciano RUSCHEL and Jackson Ragnar FOLLMANN, a hostess Ximena SUAREZ and a technician Erwin TUMIRI, as well as a journalist Rafael HENSEL.

The small team of the Association Chapecoense (city of 200,000 souls) had foiled all the prognostications by qualifying in the final of the Copa Sudamericana, eliminating successively Independiente (ARG) in the eighth finals, Junior of Barranquilla (COL) in Quarters and the Argentines of San Lorenzo, the favorite club of Pope Francis, in the semifinal...
