Trésor MPUTU authorized to play again!

January 7, 2017

FIFA has authorized FECOFA to qualify Trésor MPUTU MABI in response to the last request of the Congolese Federation in March 2016.  The Chairman Moïse KATUMBI was the first to receive this news before sending it to us on Saturday January 7 evening.

MPUTU has left Angolan soccer team of Kabuscorp as a result of a contractual dispute. Subsequently, Kabuscorp challenged his departure, via Angolan Federation, and demanded compensation for breach of unfair contract, before the bodies of FIFA, which requalified the player.

Good news for the emblematic number 8 of the TPM, for days have been long to wait for this decision of FIFA. Trésor can now cherish his dream to go back on the pitch because he was authorized by the world body to replay and FECOFA has very quickly registered him in the TPM squad.

The player's qualification to the TPM after a very long period of investigation of the case, is the result of the long steps taken by the Chairman Moïse KATUMBI. The boss had even addressed a sports law firm to plead the case at FIFA, and recently he sent sporting director Frédéric KITENGIE to Zurich to inquire about the case.

The verdict is given, the former captain of Ravens can, in principle, make his starts under the colors of the TPM in a few days. Having failed to pay the full compensation in the transfer of Trésor, the Angolan club of Kabuscorp must pay a sum of $ 1,500,000 and penalties to the TPM.

Welcome back Trésor!
