Choc TPM-JSK in relegation play-off!

TPM will face JS Kabylie in CAF Confederation Cup play-offs. This is the verdict of the draw, made this Tuesday 21 March at CAF headquarters. First leg in Lubumbashi the weekend of April 7 to 9, the second leg will come one week after.
By drawing the Jeunesse Sportive Kabylie as an opponent in the relegation play-off of C2, CAF offered the African athletes a worthy game for the final of a Champion’s League! A shock that will serve as a reunion since Ravens and Kabyles met in the semi-final of the C1 in 2010, with a favorable outcome for TPM: 3-1 in Lubumbashi and 0-0 in the second leg match. It should also be remembered that in 2000, in the second round of the Confederation Cup, JSK had inflicted a 5-0 score at the TPM – which learned to play on synthetic pitch – before losing 2-0 in Lubumbashi, in which MAYA and EKUSTHU had missed two penalties!
This time, the two big soccer teams will meet for a place in group stage. To get there, Rainford KALABA and his teammates have to overcome the "Yellow and Green" in the Kamalondo Cauldron on Sunday April 9th in the first leg to keep their chance of reaching the 8th round of the C2 in order to defend their trophy.
