As part of the Kenya 2018 qualifiers, the DRC went to Congo Brazzaville (0-0) in the last round of the final round on Friday (August 11th). Six Ravens took part in the match, Ley MATAMPI, Djos ISSAMA, Mika MICHE and Meschak ELIA were holders while Deo KANDA and Ben MALANGO entered in the course of the game!
Ben MALANGO entered at 67th minute. For his first selection, the Raven center-forward missed a great opportunity to score the story one minute after his appearance on the field.
Deo KANDA a substitute for Meschak ELIA did not bring enough punch to the wings, he and teammates without resources were happy to defend to bring back a precious draw from Brazzaville.
As for Kévin MONDEKO and Arsène ZOLA, the two young defenders remained on the bench. The secong leg will take place on Saturday 19 August at 14:30 GMT in Kinshasa.
