The Jeef KAPONDO committee being a full term, FECOFA did not wait for the dithering of the parties around the elections. As the governing body of Congolese football, and given the opportunity to set up a Linafoot Management Committee for a two-year term, FECOFA has appointed a committee of 14 members to make a new wind in national championship.

A decision has been made on Saturday, October 14 in the middle of the day, it is unequivocal. The appointment of a Management Committee for Linafoot has become a reality. This provision has just cut the grass under the feet of rebellious teams who signed a memo two days ago to boycott the start of the championship, scheduled for October 20 if their prerequisites were not respected among which, the question on the organization of the Linafoot elections.

In its letter of appointment, FECOFA entrusts three main tasks to the new committee:

- Implementation of the new approach of the national championship;

- Considering the modalities of a new format for the national championship and an establishment of a Division II;

- Implementation of CAF requirements on teams licensing system.
