During the international break in October 2018 when the third and fourth qualifying days of the AFCON 2019 were played, seven players from the professional squad were selected in national teams. Here are their results of the matches of the 3rd day.
Rainford KALABA, Kabaso CHONGO and Nathan SINKALA, winners with Zambia in front of Guinea Bissau 2-1. The "Maestro" remained on the bench while CHONGO and SINKALA were holders.
The Elephants of Ivory Coast with Sylvain GBOHOUO, in goal, dominated the Central African Republic 4-0. Uganda of Joseph Benson OCHAYA (replaced in the 59th) won in Kampala 3-0 in front of Lesotho; and, the DRC of Djos ISSAMA tenured on the right lane and Meschak ELIA entered at the hour of play fell from high, beaten in Kinshasa 2-1 by Zimbabwe.
