MIKA retracted, a draw for Leopards in Gisenyi

The U23 of the DRC could not do better than draw (0-0) against the Amavubis from Rwanda in the first leg of the preliminaries of the AFCON of that category. All our young selected in this selection U23 – Glody LIKONZA, Jackson MULEKA and Arsène ZOLA, appointed captain – were holders, without Miché MIKA.
The MIKA midfielder has been recalibrated by CAF. The player will be over 23 years old next year, the year of the competition, and therefore, is not eligible. A situation that should have known by the management of the Leopards before calling up the player.
In a balanced match, the three TPM players left beautiful impressions in Gisenyi, getting some chances. Despite the draw, Leopards left Rwanda satisfied with a collective performance and result. Robert KIDIABA's team crossed the border just after the match, they spent the night in Goma and will join Kinshasa on Thursday, November 15.
