DIVISION 1: MUUNGANO - MAZEMBE 0-1

SAMATTA’s shot did it…

September 28, 2012

Today afternoon in Bukavu SAMATTA once more struck.  The International soccer player from Tanzania has allowed TP. Mazembe to win on one of the most difficult pitch of Division 1.  Thanks to his goal at the 30th minute in the cage of Muungano soccer team.  TPM (has now 43 points in 15 games played) after VCLUB and DCMP these two teams are still on top of the classification thanks to their matches played in advance.

LAMINE NDIAYE did not hesitate at all to tidy up his best offensive players in pointing the scorers MPUTU and SAMATTA for this game in the unspeakable pitch of Bukavu, supported in attack by KANDA, SINGULUMA, LUSADISU and SINKALA were the hub of the midfield. In Defense, the Coach has put a good barrier composed of NKULUKUTA, KIMWAKI, HICHANI and KASUSULA;

A GOOD START:  The first quarter was such a monologue quite unproductive for TPM.  The Ravens monopolized the ball, but could not do anything special. They were patient and were expecting for an opportunity to score… they found it at the 11th minute as Erick NKULUKUTA signed a nice action and adjusted his shot; unfortunately it goes on the crossbar. Once again the Ravens missed to score in the 12th minute when a free kick by MPUTU on the head of SINGULUMA the ball was leaking the right post of the goalkeeper SEBA

SAMATTA REACTION: The Ravens began to wake up gradually but they still had to wait until the 30th minute to make a difference. Local players who did not do anything in the game were surprised by SAMATTA who took advantage of a missed shot ahead by the central defender from Muungano, pressed by MPUTU, the Tanzanian  inherited the ball to 6 meters and  opened his foot for the winning goal. This goal was preceded by a serious incident that would even drive the SUD KIVU in mourning. One of the lattices that separates the playground from the grandstand collapsed at 33th minute.  Fortunately they were able to evacuate some of the viewers who were slightly injured. The first half time ended with a warning to Nathan SINKALA who has signed a wonderful work in the midfield. The Zambian guy collapsed twice in the pitch. The first time he received, at 10th minute, an elbow to the neck. Secondly at 25th but he stood firm until the end of the game.

MUUNGANO WAS POWERLESS:  In the second half, MUUNGANO players were willing to revive their efforts lasted only the time to please their fanatics with nice technical actions, but TPM players had still a superior game. Despite Patrick ILONGO came onto the pitch for Guy LUSADISU at 65th, and Thomas ULIMWENGU for Déo KANDA (who had flu before the game), they could not move to the high gear. It is with this score though small but well justified, that TPM players left Cconcorde Stadium with three points in the pocket, so it is done.
