Twelve players from Mazembe nominees

The Congolese Union of Soccer (UFC), member of the International Federation of Professional Footballers (FIFPro), has launched a prize for the best 11 players of the season called "Trophy UFC." Through this award, the UFC wants to bring its members to appreciate each other and to honor one another in order to give more life and solidarity to their "profession." Twelve players from TP Mazembe are on the list of nominees.
UFC Trophy will award 11 best players, one per position (from the goalkeeper to the center forward). It includes any Congolese player regardless the championship where he operates, local or foreign. A player not playing in DR Congo is also considered for the award.
A prize will also be given to the group of the most active supporters of the season as voted by the players. A former player will also be awarded in each edition for his contributions throughout his career, in Congolese football.
The UFC has made Friday, November 30, 2012, during a press conference at its headquarters the publication of 33 nominees; three players per position. From this list eleven best players will be the nominees in 2012 as voted by the players and members of the technical committee. The latter is composed of representatives of the UFC, the Congolese Federation of Football Association (Fecofa) and members of the Media. The Counting of votes is scheduled for 7 December, while the publication of results by the Technical Committee will take place on December 13, 2012.
A diner of gala for the awards will take place during the month of March 2013. Here is the list of nominees:

· Right Lateral: ISSAMA (V. Club), NKULUKUTA (Mazembe) and BANGALA (DCMP)
· Left Lateral: EBUNGA (V. Club), KASUSULA (Mazembe) and MULEMO (Kortrijk, Belgium)
· Axial defender 1: MBEMBA (Anderlecht), KIMWAKI (Mazembe) and HIMONDE (Mazembe)
· Axial defender 2: SUNZU (Mazembe), MONGONGU (Evian TG, France) and MABIALA (Karabuspor, Turkey)
· Defensive Midfielder: MULUMBU (West Bromwich Albion, England), ILONGO (Mazembe) and MUTOMBO (V. Club)
· Attacking Midfielder: MATUMONA (Mons, Belgium), BASILUA (V. Club) and KALABA (Mazembe)
·Middle leader: MAKIADI (Freiburg, Germany), KODI (DCMP) and NTELA (Leopards Dolisie, Congo Brazzaville)
· Forward Support 1: NIEMBA (Leopards Dolisie, Congo Brazzaville), KANDA (Mazembe) and SAMATTA (Mazembe)
· Support striker 2: MPUTU (Mazembe), KALUYITUKA (Qatar) and MUKENGA (DCMP).
· Centre Forward: MBOKANI (Anderlecht, Belgium), ETEKIAMA (V. Club) and SINGULUMA (Mazembe)
