Leopards without punch and Le ROY very angry
Mundial 2014 – RDC-LIBYA 0-0
A draw that drives Le ROY furious!
March 27, 2013
The DRC has missed a great opportunity to join Cameroon head in Group I of qualifications for the World Cup 2014. Leopards could not do better than a draw (0-0) this Sunday at Martyrs Stadium in Kinshasa.
Very drafts in forward, the Congolese have paid dearly for their clumsiness to miss a penaltyfollowing a foul on Dieumerci MBOKANI launched in depth by Alain KALUYITUKA. While Le ROY has designated MBOKANI, it’s KALUYITUKA who pointed himself to the ball but the Congolese player’s hit was distracted by the goalkeeper Mohamed NASHNUSH in the 70th. Libya has been in the watch but also frightenedthe Congolese by sending the ball over the crossbar of Robert KIDIABA (17th).
Very angry because of this result that relegates the DRC in 3rd place with 4 points. The Congolese coach refused even, at the end of the game, to shake hands with his Moroccan counterpart Abed ALHAFID ERBISH.
On 7 June, the DRC will move to Tripoli to Libya currently second with 5 points for the fourth day before receiving in Kinshasa on 14 June the head of the group, Cameroon (6 points) winner against Togo on Saturday 2-1.
