STATS OF TPM APRIL - MAY

SAMATTA remains the key man

June 14, 2013

As usual, we have compiled the statistics of players that make up the actual TP Mazembe. Three components: presence, decisive pass and goals. But this time, we bring this balance in two months’ time, April and May. And a man proves unavoidable in terms of figures: Aly Mbwana SAMATTA.

Presence: no 13 of 13 ...

In terms of playing time, no one has made 13 appearances in the entire two months. No 7 of 7 in May, while in contrast Jean KASUSULA and Aly SAMATTA have a total of six matches on 6 in April. In this classification of the presence SAMATTA already ranks in third position before Richard KISSI BOATENG and the amazing KASONGO KABIONA.

The classification (minutes played): 1. KIDIABA and KASUSULA 900 minutes, 3. SAMATTA 873, 4. BOATENG 79, 5. KABIONA 720, 6. SINKALA 655. 7. KIMWAKI and HICHANI 630, 9. MPUTU 610, 10. ASANTE 518, 11. KALABA 512, 12. ILONGO 475, 13. NKULUKUTA 447, 14. KABANGU 430, etc.

Goals: "Samagoal" of course

None of the supporters of the TPM will be amazed at the Tanzanian hunter goals occupying the first place. SAMATTA remains the most prolific club player. We would just like him to do sometimes better choices when one partner is unmarked. But the great scorers are often selfish...

Thirteen players in total found the net during these two months to score 39 goals of Mazembe. BOKANGA came at the forefront and has still to confirm this return to form.

The ranking: 1. SAMATTA 6 goals, 2. BOKANGA, BOATENG, AWAKO, MPUTU 4 goals, 6. ULIMWENGU 3 goals, 7. KALABA, ILONGO, SINGULUMA 2 goals, 10. ADJEI, KABANGU, NKULUKUTA and SAKUWAHA 1.

Passes: MPUTU is still there ...

In the kingdom of passers Tresor MPUTU is not ready to give up his seat for the moment.  He is again the one who put his partner on the way, including his free kicks. But SAMATTA is not far behind which proves that he is not so selfish ...

The ranking: 1. MPUTU 6 passes, 2. SAMATTA 5 passes, 3. BOATENG 2, 6. ASANTE, BOKANGA, KABANGU, KASONDE, ADJEI, NKULUKUTA, ULIMWENGU 1 pass each.

A total of three rankings, we cannot ignore the important position that Mbwana Aly SAMATTA occupies in the team. At the age of 21 (he will celebrate in December) the Tanzanian forward leader draws attention and many European clubs follow his performances. The quarter-finals of the CAF Cup certainly provides an excellent opportunity to continue to highlight for the greater good of the Ravens.
