Mazembe face Bizerte in Tunis

Originally scheduled in stadium of 15 Octobre of the city of Bizerte, at 65km away from Tunis, the game between CA Bizertin-TP Mazembe as all other home games of Cabistes was relocated in the Tunisian capital. Sunday evening, at Chedly-Zouiten stadium away from its land behind closed doors decided by the Tunisian officials, the CAB was fine with a draw 0-0 when receiving Entente Setif.
The issue of the stadium that should host the home matches of CA Bizertin was decided by the CAF. The Bizerte stadium of 15 Ocotbre is not registered to receive matches of the highest level in the continental football; it can’t host matches of the CAF Cup. On the request of the leadership of the Bizertin Club, CAF has decided to have the match play at Chedly-Zouiten Stadium in Tunis.
Thus, Cabistes will have to play all their home games in this facility located in the Belvedere area of the Tunisian capital. With a capacity of 18,000 spectators, the Chedly-Zouiten Stadium is currently the third stadium after Rades in Tunis and El Menzah. Although it belongs to the municipality, it is in this facility with natural grass that the third team of the city of Tunis, the Tunisian Stadium, plays all its home matches.
Behind closed doors for CA Bizertin!
For safety reasons and in view of the tense situation in the country, Tunisian authorities have decided that all the continental games of Tunisian clubs will be played behind closed doors. The evidence: on Sunday August 4, CA Bizertin has received Entente Sportive de Setif in Chedly Zouiten-stadium in Tunis in empty grandstands.

The Ivorian Kone ARDIOUMA officiate as match commissioner and the general coordinator will be the Malian MAGASOUBA.
