However, by qualifying for the final after eliminating Segrada Esperança, Atletico Petroleos thought in well signing an honorary revenge against a Congolese rival who had beaten them twice (3-0 and in Kenya stadium then 2-1 in Luanda) in the 16th of the Champions League in 2009. Especially since both international and experienced FLAVIO and GILBERTO were present at kickoff in the current sixth championship of Girabola.

But Lamine NDIAYE, in attending the semi-final, had his own ideas about how his team needed to address the game. “They will soon be tired and if we score first we will have our chances…” had he said Tuesday night, after a very late training session of his foals.
