A new defender in TPM

TP Mazembe is delighted to announce, for a period of five years, the Zambian KABASO CHONGO from Konkola Mine Police. The Chairman’s team got an agreement for the transfer of a 21 year old Zambian defender.
KABASO CHONGO joins his teammates TPM on Tuesday at 16:00 during the resumption of training session at Kamalondo. In recruiting a young talent capable of playing in central defense but also as right winger, TPM is preparing the next CAF Champions League: "The arrival of KABASO – great player to come whose qualities have raised the interest of TP Mazembe – is a real satisfaction for us. It marks our commitment to project ourselves into the future to build one of the largest African teams able to get the next CAF Champions League.” Said Patrice CARTERON, coach of TPM. Considering that the new recruit has a great edge for improvement as he has demonstrated in recent months.
The Zambian international aged 21 years (born on February 11, 1992) was part of the group of Chipolopolo Boys who played Brazil in China, he was wearing the number 19.
