SAMATTA, ULIMWENGU and KABASO halted

The three Ravens involved in CECAFA Cup in Kenya failed Tuesday in the semifinals of the sub regional tournament. Zambia the doer of the opening score during the second half of additional time has been caught up before conceding a second goal in the 118th while Tanzania of Mbwana SAMATTA and Thomas ULIMWENGU lost against Kenya.

Zambians with Kabaso CHONGO in eleven were the first to highlight them against Sudan thanks to Ronald KAMPAMBA (110th). But the Sudanese have successfully reversed the course of the game via Miaaz ABDELRAHIM (114th) and it is Salah IBRAHIM (118th) who scored the winning goal thus allowing his teammates to validate their ticket for the final.

In the other semifinal, Tanzania of Mbwana SAMATTA and Thomas ULIMWENGU did not have the necessary resources to face the hosting country, Kenya. The sole goal by Clifton MIHESO at 5th allowed the local players to honor the celebration of the Kenya’s 50th Independence Day scheduled for Dec, 12 for the final tournament. The Taifa Stars and the Chipolopolo Boys will play the small final the same day at Nyoyo Stadium downtown Nairobi.
