FIRST MEETING OF THE NEW COMMITTEE
TP Mazembe at a time of great change

At the end of 2013, a new Management Committee was brought to the head of the club. During the first meeting, January 6, 2014, the new committee elected combed the evolution of the club both in its organization, functioning at the level of results achieved during last year. He opted for other development strategies.
Thus, the committee took a series of decisions. Except that of transferring players Félix STOPPILA SUNZU and Nathan SINKALA, the committee did not want to renew the contracts between the club and the following consultants:
- Jérôme CHAMPAGNE, International Advisor of the club, the committee praised the work done in the context of outsourcing the club;
- Thomas CHANI, Recruitment Consultant in Zambia.
The Committee thanked them for their contribution to the life of the Club.
Moreover, while ensuring its effective control. The Club has recruited the following players of the Congolese citizenship:
- Jonathan MERIKANI, former player of CS Don Bosco;
- Robert MBELU, former player of AS Nika.
Remember that the TPM had already recruited Salif COULIBALY (Mali defender), Kabaso CHONGO (Defender from Zambia) and Joseph KAMWENDO (midfielder from Malawi).
Other players will be tested upon the resumption of training of the professional team to identify talent.
