Joseph Sepp BLATTER, President of FIFA, closed on Friday evening the workshop on the professionalization of African Clubs, opened Thursday in Cape Town. The boss of the world football organisation is invited by CAF to attend the CHAN final between Libya and Ghana on Saturday. Informed about this encounter, he was keen to meet the presidents of clubs and whispered them in ear what they mean for FIFA. The Chairman of TPM Moïse KATUMBI attended the two-day workshop.

Four other themes have been addressed on the second day of reflection works between team leaders and CAF. The participants began by questioning the policy to be implemented for the training of young people in a professional club. The clubs followed a presentation on what is happening in other confederations on licensing of players. Sepp BLATTER wants professional clubs in Africa

On his side, the FIFA president honored the club managers in reminding them the position the hold in FIFA. Speaking both French and English, Joseph Sepp BLATTER first paid tribute to Nelson MANDELA, the man through whom the World Cup was held in Africa.

For the boss of World Football Organisation, we need professional clubs in Africa to compete with other continents.
