KFA invited to Abidjan Tournament

The « Katumbi Football Academy » could represent the DRC to the International Tournament of the District of Abidjan, TIDA in short. The competition will be attended by several prestigious European training centers, in the Ivorian capital from 1 to 6 December 2014.
The Celebrity of the TPM training center is to date beyond the borders. On the table of the KFA management, an invitation from the International Tournament of the District of Abidjan (TIDA) from 1 to 6 December 2014 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. In case of participation of our youth, they will play against the youth of Masia (Barcelona) who were beaten in the final in 2013 by the prestigious Ghana Academy of Feyenoord.
Until the direction of the KFA gives the green light on the participation of our youth, this is how the tournament is being organized that attracts, as in 2013, the sympathy of men trained in football issues. Among them let's mention for example the legendary former coach of AJ Auxerre (France), Guy Roux; the Boss of the FC Barcelona Foundation, the Catalan Senator Joseph Maldonado Y. Gili; famous French sports journalists, Philippe DOUCET of Canal + and Jean-Philippe COINTROT the French sports daily paper "L'Equipe".
How is it organized ?
The tournament is scheduled for 8 teams divided into 2 groups of 4 teams. Teams of the same group will face each other in first leg only, three group matches per team. The first and second in each group will play the semi-finals and the winners will play the final. The two teams defeated in the semifinals will play the small final to rank 3rd and 4th. The other teams will play matches ranking from 5th to 8th place.
Thus, each team will play four games in maximum, all 11 against 11 away on synthetic turf with a length of matches: 2 times 40 minutes.
Assignment Mode of Points
No draw during games; every victory, gained score in regular time, is entitled 3 points for the winner and 0 points for losing team. In case of a tie at the end of regular time, there will be 3 direct shots on goal. The winning team at the end of the penalty kicks will then have 2 points and defeated team 1 point.
