Willy MUNGONGO “FISH" and his foals on good track
EUFLU: WITH 17 POINTS IN OUTCOME
KFA: a half of the encouraging season
November 14, 2014
The young group of KFA which is in its second participation in the EUFLU championship is flourishing in the image of his journey in first leg. If last year the "Academicians" were temporarily relegated in mid-term, it does not matter this season and they realize an interesting journey.
These young Academicians coached by the well known Willy MUNGONGO "Fish" realize the first part of the season of good quality. With 17 points, they are placed behind New Soger and Kenya and share the same number of points with Bana Vea. This Thursday, November 13th, they finished the first leg by a goalless draw against Scom Mikishi (the first winner of the Linafoot in 1990).
In number of the 12 matches of the first phase, the KFA has won 5 (FC-Kawaya KFA 0-1, FC Saint-Pierre KFA 1-4 KFA-FC Ngwena 2-1, DCMP-KFA 0-2, KFA- CAF Les Stars1-0) made two draws (FC Brasimba-KFA 1-1, KFA-Scom Mikishi 0-0) and 5 defeats (KFA-Bana Vea 0-2 RCGM-KFA 2-1, US Kenya-KFA 2-0, FC Blessing-KFA 3-1, AS New soger KFA-2-0). This is the mid-term outcome. With their 17 points, if the 3rd place still escapes them the 5th or 4th are still within range.
Zao MATUTALA, the scorer of « Academicians »
With 13 goals scored and 14 conceded, the young Crows ensure the show every weekend in Frederick Kibassa stadium, have an average of one goal per game but they still need to tighten their defense to concede less, Arsene Zola and his friends in the rearguard are advised. For this first part of the season, the KFA could rely offensively on MATUTALA who accounts three goals before NGOYI TAINOSA two.
The rich workforce (1st and 2nd promotions) allowed Willy MUNGONGO "Fish" to run regularly. "Everyone was involved in the beginning of this promising championship awarded by the 17 points ..." said Regis LAGUESSE, director of the KFA.
The second half of the season looks terrible for all opponents of the KFA. This time they need to go and thou New Soger and Kenya, and even if the objective is now the training, in maintaining of course, nothing prevents from dreaming in also assuming the title.
No rest for the KFA because the executive committee of EUFLU managed by Dieudonné Pablo NGWEJ will shortly make public the timing of the second leg. According to reliable sources, the championship should restart on Friday, November 28, 2014. And not to be offset on the preparation, the KFA will play a friendly match this Friday, November 14, 2014 at 10:00 am at Temple of Badianguenas against Umoja, a club of the second division.
