Currently present with his selection in South Africa for the preparation of the Equatorial Guinea AFCON 2015 Rainford KALABA has been named captain of the national team of Zambia at 29 years old!
The talented striker of TP Mazembe took the lead after his former teammate; Felix STOPPILA SUNZU has waived this position.
After the non-selection of Christopher KATONGO, SUNZU then SINKALA had respectively won in interim the cuff during qualifying for the AFCON 2015. Today promoted the new captain of the Chipolopolos Boys of Zambia, Rainford KALABA will have the delicate task of Zambia to the summit of African football and maintain the group spirit that Zambia had shown in all international competitions in which they participates.
Rainford KALABA player member of the TPM, thus entering the "pantheon" of famous Zambian captains include KALUSHA BWALYA, Elie TANA, Jones CHILENGI, Dickson MAKWANZA, Ashious MWELU, Christopher KATONGO among others.
