It's Saturday, January 16, late morning in the plush setting of "Les Gourmets" restaurant on the Boulevard Lumumba in Lubumbashi that Moïse KATUMBI received his trophy for "Football Leader of the Year 2014" awarded by the Confederation of African Football.
At the official ceremony of the Glo-CAF Awards in Lagos, the sports director Frédéric KITENGIE had represented the Chairman who was absent due to other obligations. Saturday, during a cocktail, Moïse KATUMBI received his trophy from YAV-A-MUYET, former president of Entente de Football de Lubumbashi (EUFLU) in the presence of several political leaders, members of the TP Mazembe committee and several players headed by Aimé BAKULA and Robert MBELU.
In his speech, the president of TPM, visibly happy, thanked all those who contributed to this distinction, God in priority, but also the leaders of the government, and even football club supporters
Later in the afternoon, Moïse KATUMBI boarded a private plane to pursue care in Europe.
