Kamel DJABOUR: "The public, the lawn... We suffered a lot"
C1 – WITH THE COACH OF STADE MALIEN
Kamel DJABOUR: « The influence of the public weighed»
May 4, 2015
Moroccan coach of Stade Malien appreciated the enthusiasm of the public from Kamalondo on the basis of the panic by his players in the first half. His team had the arguments to stop the TPM but shame... The victory of the Ravens is deserved. Excerpts.
« The defeat hurt us seriously since we are not qualified against an opponent who had put everything on his side to win. The TPM deserves his victory. There is nothing to say about it.
What was the mistake made by Stade Malien?
We did two different half. During the first half we looked at Mazembe making the game under the influence of his friendly public. The lawn also put us in a lot of difficulties. We are not used to playing on such grass that generated much heat. In terms of energy expenditure, it was very hard for my players. In the second half we took over the direction of the game. I requested my players to be fully involved to shake the TPM. Even if the victory is for the TPM, I think my team was not unworthy.
The same face during the double confrontation
For the two games, there is a similarity. In Bamako, we had to demystify the TPM which has always won on Malian soil. We wanted to stop this bleeding. That's what we did, shame we only managed in the second half. In Lubumbashi, we failed to weigh essentially in the game. In the first half, we could not find three to four passes to put the TPM in difficulty. Our reaction was too late. Too bad!»
