The Midfielder of TPM Boubacar DIARRA, aged 21, was called by the coach of Espoirs from Mali for the AFCON U23 Play-Offs, scheduled in Senegal in December 2015. It is important to qualify for the AFCON U23 because the top three teams will get their visa for the Olympic Games from 3 to 20 August 2016 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Espoirs from Mali will face Mauritania in Nouakchott on 23.05.2015 for the first leg of the second round of qualifying for the AFCON U23; the second leg is scheduled on May 30, 2015 in Bamako. Boubacar DIARRA is expected from the 15.05.2015 in the Malian capital at the center Ousmane TRAORE of Kabala.
Remember that in 2013, Boubacar DIARRA had played the U20 World Cup with the Eaglets of Mali in Turkey. Based in Group D, the Eaglets finished 4th with 2 points behind Greece (5 points), Paraguay (5 points) and Mexico (3 points). The Midfielder of TPM was captain of his selection.

In case of qualification at the end of this second round will join the Eaglets of Mali, from July 17, the exempted: Gabon, Morocco, South Africa, Egypt, Ivory Coast, Algeria and Nigeria for the 3rd and final round.
