The New TPM Centre
RAVENS IN THE FUTUKA NES
A new training center for the TPM
August 6, 2016
TPM has now a new training center, located in the valley of the village of Futuka, about 30km from Lubumbashi. Pending its official opening, the Ravens has taken possession of the premises on Monday, August 1 to prepare their trip to Ghana.
With this choice of Futuka site, the management of TP Mazembe continues the advance of a modern club and very ambitious since the arrival of Chairman Moïse KATUMBI at its head. In its development projects, TPM was planning to build one of the leading centers in Africa for its teams (professionals and academicians).
In pursuit of excellence, the great center dedicated to TPM must accommodate in optimal conditions the many African talents and greatest hopes of the Congolese football.
A training pitch in artificial turf
Ravens benefit, since this Monday, August 1, from these facilities: an artificial turf is already operational, the work of other pitches including those on natural grass are in completion phase. Dormitories and other buildings of the Centre are ready. For a few days starting Monday, players will spend their training session there before going to Ghana.
By building this place of life and training, the Chairman Moïse KATUMBI endows his club with a powerful tool to prepare themselves, recover and promote group cohesion.
Before its inauguration, we will present a complete story on this ultra-modern training center.
